Sage won't work on Windows

I've just installed sage on windows. I downloaded the sage 5.1 disk and installed it under VirtualBox. Now when I attempted the tutorial trying to solve
x = var('x') solve(x^2+3*x+2, x)
I got the following error: You must install the optional Kash package to use Kash from Sage.
SInce I don't have access to the command line I couldn't attempt the solution described here.

In case this question has been asked before, i couldn't find it after searching.

What did I do wrong? How can I solve this? Thanks.

You don't need Kash to solve this, and the VM that we distribute from sagemath.org will not print that error message. In fact, its hard to imagine how you broke things.

I think that you probably accidentally changed the box that usually says "sage" and changed it to "kash". See attached screenshot.

You should be able to change it back to Sage.

No I checked and it was an installation problem. I re-installed sage and it is working perfectly now. Otherwise I'll remember next time not to choose 'kash'. Thanks
