Installation issue in dowloading gf2x-1.1.tar.bz2

This post is a wiki. Anyone with karma >750 is welcome to improve it.

The installation process was going fin until it tried downloading gf2x-1.1.tar.bz2 where it came up with an error when trying to download it from mirror service.

Any help appreciated, it is possible that my dodgy internet connection screwed it up.

This may happen sometimes; usually, it suffices to run make again.
