I tried to change the keyboard layout as outlined in the installation guide (Sage 5.8 on most recent VirtualBox under Windows 7). But the user id "gui" or the password "sage" seems to be wrong.
It seems the user id was incorrect. It should be sage. I have changed the wiki page now.

It is incorrect. I checked sage-5.8.ova before posting here. There is no user called gui in the whole system. Checked using idgui grep gui /etc/passwd
Strange. I wonder if there was a version where that *was* correct.
I removed the extra gui user because of bugs in the notebook authentication. Now everything runs under the `sage` user.
