I have three notebooks running in the same machine, listening to ports 8000, 8001 and 8002.
I also have set three different names in the DNS pointing at the IP of this machine.
Is there a way to redirect connections to the different ports deppending on the name that the client has pointed to?
This is certainly possible, but seems like a domain name management question rather than a Sage question. In a quick google search, I found the wizard at
http://dyn.com/support/wizard/
(the one for "Alternate Port") describes how to do this, using tools I'm not familiar with. Perhaps this will be enough to get you on the right track though?

Ok, i finally solved it by installing nginx as reverse proxy (i think any other program that can work as reverse proxy, as squid or apache would work too).
Yep. I use apache and it works well too. That's how the public notebook servers are set up as well.
