Does anybody know a solution for this problem?
I reported it as a bug at https://github.com/sagemath/sage-wind...
Welcome to Ask Sage and thanks for reporting this!
Is it possible the user's username contains non-ASCII characters? If so, I don't think this a problem specific to Windows.
Or perhaps, more precisely, on your machine, in the Sage prompt what does
from sage.env import SAGE_TMP; SAGE_TMP
output?To Iguananaut, thanks for comments. You are right. The username of windows account contains non-ascii character, which is very common situation in Windows Korean distribution. I wil try to use new account of ascii acaracter.
And, here is the output from your command;
Sorry, I meant to write
from sage.misc.misc import SAGE_TMP; SAGE_TMP
. The command I suggested before was useless. It's no problem that the account name contains non-ASCII characters in principle--we're working on making Sage work consistently in an international context. It just seems you found a corner case.Dear Iguananaut, First, I created new account using only ASCII characters, and the reported problem disappear, i.e. it play windows viewer showing the png image.
Second, however, there is still some problem in the web-based interface using notebook() command.
The image doesn't appear in several browers( firefox, chrome, edge), simply a tiny 'x' mark appear.
Third,
Here is output for your command
