@TheLunchster , since you just downloaded the Sage appliance file, are you using the latest version of VirtualBox? Can you check which version you are using? A recent version of VirtualBox had a bug with the update system, so it may say no updates are available.

@uni quely , i dont think SageMathCloud has a live tutorial similar to the one the SageNotebook has, yet at least. But your local installation of SageNotebook should have a live tutorial as you mention. Im able to access the tutorial fine on my end, using Sage 6.3, im on Linux however. Off the top of my head at the moment, i cant think of how to further investigate on your end, since its just not showing up.

@Pelonza , Ive been trying to figure out what gets called exactly when you enter say graphs(6) , but the only reference to that notation ive found so far is in /sage/src/sage/graphs/graph.py on line 338. But between that and the parallel computing manual: http://www.sagemath.org/pdf/en/reference/parallel/parallel.pdf , it doesnt seem to me at least that graphs(12) is something you can make parallel, without modifying some of the graphing algorithms. But being able to parallelize such an operation if its currently not possible, would be a good ticket idea as suggested.

@hildejk , I was able to run what @ndomes suggested below without error, using sage 6.3.
