2020-04-22 22:46:11 +0200 | asked a question | In Sage is there support for non-convex polyhedra? Which reference page gives help or examples? Can they be triangulated? I want to triangulate them in order to help turn them into stl files. |

2014-05-19 01:09:37 +0200 | asked a question | Copy file to a different project What is the best way to copy a file from one project to another? I want to do this because I want to share/collaborate this file with others - but I don't want to share the other files in the project. |
2014-01-30 00:23:05 +0200 | commented answer | How to save a file On a different computer, I tried this again - this time I was asked where I wanted to save the file - and, sure enough, it saved there. But as calc314 says below, I couldn't upload it to my "local" sage notebook program. It was saved as a "plain text file" - neither .sws nor .sagews At least, I can copy and paste into either type of sage from here. |
2014-01-30 00:18:14 +0200 | commented answer | How to save a file Oh - so in this case, I guess I can't think of a reason for one would need to download a file. Thanks |
2014-01-28 16:35:05 +0200 | commented answer | How to save a file Great - this is just what I wanted -- or so I thought when I first read it. I tried this and yes I get a message on the screen that says a file is being downloaded, but afterwards, I am not able to find it in my file system (I use linux Mint - I first searched my home directory and later expanded to start at the root of the file system, but either way the search came up empty). The download process did not ask me where I wanted to save the file (it just said downloading with command rsync -axH --backup --backup-dir=.trash/ source dest so as not delete files that might be overwritten. |

2014-01-27 01:41:52 +0200 | answered a question | How to save a file I voted "like" for the above answer, from calc314. It did answer my question. But I guess I also did not fully, properly phrase my question. Now I know what happens when I click that button. I watched the whole video, but I still don't know how to download a sage worksheet, so that I can use it when I want to run SAGE locally. I like being able to "go local" in case the internet is down or just slow. Also, I don't know if I should have added this answer, as I did, or if I should have edited the question. |

2014-01-26 15:58:42 +0200 | commented question | taylor(1/x^2,x,2,2) give unexpected results Yes, if one asks for the Taylor series centered at 2, one should expect the answer to appear with (x-2)'s , not "simplified" into a series with some terms (or just leading term) centered at 2 and the rest centered at 0. |
2014-01-26 15:34:15 +0200 | asked a question | How to save a file When on the sage math cloud, I click on "save (file to disk)" - then what happens? I don't get asked where to save the file to. Afterwards, I can't find the file in anywhere in my directory, etc. |
