In 2012, the best way to create a vector image in Sage from a three-dimensional plot was to call matplotlib, as the answers to Question 9057 show (sorry, I don't have enough karma to link directly; it's /question/9057/save-3d-plot-as-vector-format/ )
Is this still the case? Or are there other work-arounds now?
