Hi there,

I wonder if there is a way of generating random simple polytopes with a given number of vertices.

Thank you, and regards, Guillermo

A simple is a d-polytope is a polytope in which every vertex is part of precisely d facets, equivalently precisely d edges.

Thank you, and regards, Guillermo

Hi there,

I wonder if there is a way of generating random simple polytopes with a given number of ~~vertices.~~vertices. By "random" I simply mean constructing a polytope by sampling points on the unit sphere.

A simple d-polytope is a d-polytope ~~is a polytope ~~in which every vertex is part of precisely d facets, ~~equivalently ~~or equivalently, of precisely d edges.

Thank you, and regards, Guillermo
