Changing keyboard layout from english to standard french

Hi,

I am using Sage 5.5 from the official .ova image that I imported in Virtualbox 4.2.6 on a Windows 7 machine. Installation was successful and I can use the Sage notebook; the issue I am facing right now is that my keyboard layout is standard french and Sage seems to be hard-wired with english keyboard. I logged to the Fedora recovery console CLI as root and was able to change the Linux keyboard layout there. But once I start the Sage notebook keyboard layout goes back to english. Does anyone know how to change the Sage (notebook) keyboard layout from english to another (supported) language?
