Today I upgraded to 5.2 under Ubuntu 10.04, with success, as far as I can tell. Next I tried to install the single cell server, as I did before with Sage 5.0. I followed the instructions at

http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ti...

(pasting each line in a terminal window) but failing in the fourth line (which mentions ticket 11874). Could it be that they are out of date? Or do I misunderstand the instructions?

I noticed Sage 5.2 already seems to include sagenb 0.9.1 and jmol 12.2.21.p0. Can I go ahead and install sagecell 0.9.0.spkg directly?

As far as I can say ticket 11080 is included in sage-5.2.

The instructions are for a version of Sage before 5.2. I understand that the patches even need to be updated to work with 5.2, so it's unlikely that installing the spkg will work at the moment without modifications or updates.

Thanks. I suspected as much. I guess I'll have to be patient a little longer.

Would you like to follow https://github.com/sagemath/sagecell/... while trying these patches? Yet not too much testing done and first time "hg" user

01-sage-embedded.patch

02-sage-show.patch

as published now in sage-devel group.

This is for sagecell version 1.
