Hello guys,

I'm new to Sage and have a simple question.

How can I set range of axes in 3D plots? I am using implicit_plot3d and couldn't find anything like set_axes_range (as is in 2D plots)

Thanks

The ranges are set as in the following example:

var('x,y,z')
implicit_plot3d(x^3+y^2-3*z==0,(x,-2,2),(y,-2,2),(z,-3,3))

You can find more details at: http://www.sagemath.org/doc/reference...

I am afraid you explicitly have to draw the axes.

var('x,y,z')
d = 4
P = implicit_plot3d(x^3+y^2-3*z==0,(x,-2,2),(y,-2,2),(z,-3,3))
P += arrow((-d,0,0),(d,0,0))
P += arrow((0,-d,0),(0,d,0))
P += arrow((0,0,-d),(0,0,d))
P.show()
