I'm new to Sage and have a simple question.
How can I set range of axes in 3D plots? I am using implicit_plot3d and couldn't find anything like set_axes_range (as is in 2D plots)
ThanksMon, 07 May 2012 04:58:31 -0500http://ask.sagemath.org/question/8933/axes_range-in-3d-plots/Answer by ndomes for <p>Hello guys,</p>

var('x,y,z')
d = 4
P = implicit_plot3d(x^3+y^2-3*z==0,(x,-2,2),(y,-2,2),(z,-3,3))
P += arrow((-d,0,0),(d,0,0))
P += arrow((0,-d,0),(0,d,0))
P += arrow((0,0,-d),(0,0,d))
P.show()Mon, 07 May 2012 22:06:16 -0500http://ask.sagemath.org/question/8933/axes_range-in-3d-plots/?answer=13552#post-id-13552Answer by calc314 for <p>Hello guys,</p>

http://ask.sagemath.org/question/8933/axes_range-in-3d-plots/?answer=13550#post-id-13550The ranges are set as in the following example:
var('x,y,z')
implicit_plot3d(x^3+y^2-3*z==0,(x,-2,2),(y,-2,2),(z,-3,3))
