What if my collaborator does not see my notebook?

I have shared a notebook with a collaborator, but she does not have it in her list of notebooks. Likewise, she shared a notebook with me, but I do not see it in my list of notebooks. I checked; her name is listed as a user. She says my name appears as a user.

Note that you can still access each other's worksheets, you just can't see them in your list (right now). So if you exchange URLs, you can still edit the same worksheet.

Sorry, that was what I intended to say with "having your collaborator send you the direct link to her worksheet should work".

We had a big push to get this to work during this weekend. It should work now on sagenb.org, and your collaborator should see all of the sheets you've previously shared. Does it work for you?

This is a known issue, but only on certain instances. See this issue link for the Sage notebook.

In particular, this should only be an issue on machines running the so-called "flask notebook", which is not part of a standard distribution. This would pretty much be just the Sage servers ending in 'sagenb.org'. Is that the case?

Note that having your collaborator send you the direct link to her worksheet should work. Also, the test server has this fixed, and it will be fixed soon on other machines. This should not be an issue on any local Sage installation of your own.

When I sign on I am taken to www.sageb.org.I sent tmy URL to my collaborator; but she got taken to her sign on page. I will ask her for the URL of her page. When do I enter the URL? when I am on my home page? When I get her URL I will know what server as in sageb.or or ... My collaborator is in France, I am in Detroit, USA a hour time difference.

It really should just be the URL of the web page. The issue with the sign-in page is a bug you fixed, Jason, isn't it? Or is that just on test.sagenb.org? Sorry for the conversation in the comments - the very issue you are dealing with was just dealt with, so it has not propagated everywhere yet.

I forgot to mention that I sign on via OpenID routed through Google.
