Plotting a loglogplot

is there a way to create a loglogplot? (a 2D plot that has both axes logarithmically scaled)

I've found links to there bugs (0, 1), but this hasn't been much helpful.

I hate to continue a trend like this one, but do the answers to the question about log plots address your question?

Notwithstanding that we really need to implement this. I'm sure mpl would make this very easy, someone just needs to do it. Easier said than done :)
