How to admin a notebook without stoping it?

Namely, if there is a user in the notebook that i want to eliminate, the only way that i have found to work is to stop the notebook, open a new session of sage (without notebook), load the notebook object, erase manually the user in it and the save and restart the notebook.

Same is true for other tasks involving managing the notebook that can not be done from the web interface itself.

IS there any way to do this that does not require to stop the notebook?

You can suspend a notebook user's account (which prevents them from logging in) by logging in as the admin user and then going to Settings -> Manage Users.

Yes, i knew that. But my question is broarder than that: i would like to really erase a user (not just suspend), to add a bunch of users from a long list, etc. I mean, to do administration tasks from the command line without restarting the notebook.
