The official tutorial says:

from the Sage notebook click Help, then click Tutorial to interactively work through the tutorial from within Sage.

For the life of me I can not figure out how to do this, I'm using sagemath-9.8.rc1

Also it says I can view the tutorial in PDF format, I also couldn't find it

If you are using the Jupyter notebook, you see the menus:

File Edit View Insert Cell Kernel Widgets Help

"Tutorial" is under "Help". Also see: https://doc.sagemath.org/

Yes, this will take you to a version of the tutorial. But the question is about the so-called notebook. The tutorial references an interactive notebook. Is there a tutorial notebook, or just the static html tutorial?

Currently there is only a static tutorial. See https://github.com/sagemath/sage/issu....
