place a point on a graph

I 've got a graph as it is shown below:

plot(f(x),-10,5 )

And I would like to place a point on (x,f(x))=(t_0,y_0)=(1,-1), with labels. How can I do that please?

There are a lot of different functions for plotting, not only plot. In your situation there is point (or point2d) and text (or text2d). Both of them are documented at http://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/refer...
