I think Sage is interfering with anaconda, and I want to remove check if this is so. For I saw that to uninstall sage (I'm on a Mac) I just need to put it in the trash. Is this so? If I put it in the trash and still cannot run Jupyter from anaconda, does it mean that I have some other problem?

What do you get if you open a terminal and run echo $PATH?

It is unlikely that your Anaconda problems are related to Sage.

It happens that Anaconda prevents Sage from running properly (because it adds itself to the beginning of the PATH), but I have never heard of Sage preventing Anaconda to work properly.

You might want to reinstall Anaconda.
