Just started using sage on Windows 10. When I invoke VB and start Sage-7.2, it loads Jupyter. Right-Ctrl does not work. How do I get a terminal after Jupyter loads? I wish to use Sage interactively on the command line. Thanks, CC

I just started using Sage too and I get only to Jupyter, but I can't get to the notebook as is shown in section 3.3 (https://wiki.sagemath.org/SageAppliance/SageMath-7 (https://wiki.sagemath.org/SageApplian...)) Any advice how to get to command line?

To get to the command line from Jupyter, go to the upper right dropdown icon/link New option.

Then choose Terminal

To run Sage, just type: cd sage-7.2 and then ./sage

To remap your keyboard layout just follow the SageAppliance tutorial / wiki.

Everything working fine on Windows 10, Sage 7.2.

Hope it helped.

Note that in addition to the SageAppliance, there are many ways to use Sage under Windows 10.

This include a native SageMath installer for Windows. For more, see the answer to:
