How to save worksheets in pdf file type?

You save the worksheet as (.sws) but you print worksheets as .pdf. The difference is that you can go back and modify a worksheet but you'll need to print a brand new .pdf of the output. To print the worksheet as .pdf go to the upper left hand corner and select the "File" tab.

Choose "Print" and another window opens up showing you the ouptput of your worksheet.

Choose "File" in the new window and then "Print"; now you'll specify that you want to print as a .pdf and specify the location. On my computer it actually created a folder (called PDF) in my home folder so I was unable to initially find the file. Only by searching for the document did I realize a new folder was created.

There is another possible solution, though not as straightforward. You could use sws2rst or sws2tex to create a document that can be compiled to pdf (using Sphinx or TeX, respectively). I like the output from both of these, and they are worth knowing about; however, they may be more than you need.
