You can see this answer, which corresponds to your problem. Unfortunately, Sage does not provides binaries for 32-bit Ubuntu LTS (see also this sage-devel thread)

Hence, the remaining options seem to be:

• Compile sage by yourself

• use PPA for Ubuntu (but i am not sure it is compiled for 32 bits architecture).
