You probably need to mount the virtual disk on Windows. Maybe this forum post helps.
Then, going by the developer instructions in the Sage wiki, I would presume (I haven't tried myself) that you can get access to the sage sources by going to the <drive letter>:\\home\sage\sage\devel\sage\sage\
directory. Essentially, <drive letter>:\\home\sage\sage
should be the root folder of the Sage installation.

EDIT: Just make sure you/Windows doesn't try to write to the mounted directory.
