Would you agree to migrate to StackExchange if it becomes open-source ? (if it's technically possible)

Meta-question

I rub salt in the wound on meta.stackoverflow about the question of Open Sourcing StackExchange, see here (it currently scores -10, so some help would be welcome...).

The motivation of my previous topic is that I read on ask.sagemath here that some people are not agree to migrate to StackExchange because it in not open source (not yet...).

So I ask to you the following question:

If StackExchange becomes open-source and if it's technically possible to migrate to it :
(see @kcrisman comment and this post)

Would you agree to migrate to StackExchange ?

Presumably one relevant question is whether it is technically even possible to do so in terms of the database. That would be a good question for askbot.org.

Yes @kcrisman, I do it. Now, if SX becomes open-source, and if it's technically possible to migrate to SX (in terms of the database), would you agree to migrate ?

Not my decision to make :) and it's not clear to me what value SX would give over askbot, if the only question were the software. SX's real value is the interconnectedness of their sites, rep over all of them, etc. This would be an interesting question to raise on sage-devel, though I think most people are pretty happy with the current site and I'm not sure that others will have much to say.

SX software design is more pleasant. But you're right, the real interest is the interconnectedness with their 104 Q&A sites. Because of that, starting from "Mathoverflow" I myself post some questions on "Cognitive Science", "Science Fiction", "Area 51" sites... So if ask.sagemath migrate to SX network, it will win lots of new contributors, so that this action will open the interest for Sage to many new people...

What's the difference between ask.sagemath and sage-devel ?
