I just installed SageMath for the first time and ran into this problem "jupyter server fails to start". I managed to start it using your steps. However when I want to open anything from the menu, such as open "Sage Help", "Sage Tutorial" or "Tour of Sage", it would open a new tap and I would run into the same issue. So the fix doesn't seem to be "global" for me for some reason. Is there anything I can do? Also: How big are the chances that the developers look into this? Catalina being out since October one would think there must be more users who struggle with this. |
