2016-08-09 14:07:24 +0100 | commented answer | Worksheets are always saved in Downloads in Linux. Can I change this? Thanks. I tried setting DOT_SAGENB to a directory and restarted sage. In the sage notebook interface I named my notebook "raspberry" and saved it. When I look in that directory I see a new directory called sage_notebook.sagenb, but there is no file called "raspberry" anywhere in it or its subdirectories. If I do a download of the notebook and save to a file called "raspberry", I do see a new file called "raspberry.sws" but it is still in the ~/Downloads directory. When notebooks are saved are they in a separate file with the same name as the notebook name? I searched for a file like that in numerous places and have never found one. Even with downloads I can't seem to get them to go where I want. |
