I have a sage installation on Fedora-40; the install directory: /opt/sage is owned by sage:sage. Executing (bash)$ sage runs fine, but another user (mike) in the sage group gets core-dumped. The PATH differences between accounts only give sage access to a local copy of pip, which is the same version as the one mike uses, so maybe a protections issue? Any suggestions on things I can try?
I'd include the transcript of the crash, but (apparently) pathnames look like URLs, which I don't have enough karma to post. [Maybe you could fix that?] Could you also make the CAPTCHA less exhausting?
