My macOS is pretty old (10.13.1) I installed SageMath, and try
sage -n jupyter
And got following error
ImportError: dlopen(/private/var/tmp/sage-10.3-current/venv/lib/python3.11/site-packages/zmq/backend/cython/_device.cpython-311-darwin.so, 2): Symbol not found: ____chkstk_darwin Referenced from: /private/var/tmp/sage-10.3-current/venv/lib/python3.11/site-packages/zmq/backend/cython/../../.dylibs/libsodium.23.dylib (which was built for Mac OS X 10.15)
Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib
