On the latest stable Debian release (version 12 - Bookworm) 3D plots using the three.js viewer do not work. This issue has been reported here. A workaround for this issue is passing online=True option to the 3D plot command, confirming that the bug is a failure to load three.js because of the error in the path (URL). In this regard, is there a "configuration" file for sage in which the correct path can be set fixing this problem without the "online" requirement ?
