As I could understand, the new way tu use Sagemath is through Docker (of course the standard way is always Linux) for Windows users since only the Docker repository is update to 9.7 (9.3 for the Windows installation).
I have two computers : mine and the one given by my university. On mine, the Sagemath Docker version works but some times when I shutdown my computer and reopen it Dockers become unable to find the url it says to use. I am not enough strong to manage the recovery by myself and the computer scientist who help me is bored with it.
On the computer given by my university it is never able to find the url. We have tried every possible things and even the people who installed all the protecting stuff on my computer seems unable to find the problem.
Could we expect a standard upgraded windows installation or should for ever work with 9.2 (since 9.3 doesn't always work).
For me it's a true problem. The most part of my students works on Windows, some are on Mac a very few are on Linux (the blessed ones). I cannot ask them to change their computer or the exploitation system. So I need a stable up to date installation.
Is there any one who can help me, all this is time consumming ?
