I have 64-bit CPU (2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) but only runOS X 10.5.8 (Leopard) on my Mac and do NOT wish to upgrade. I would like to install THIS download package, for OS X 10.6:
sage-5.9-OSX-64bit-10.6-x86_64-Darwin-app.dmg
Will it work? I know that the 10.4 releases are supposed to work, but they are labeled as 32-bit i386 versions, e.g.
sage-5.4.1-OSX-32bit-10.6-i386-Darwin-app.dmg
Is there another repository of releases INTERMEDIATE BETWEEN sage-5.4.1-OSX and sage-5.9-OSX that I should check out? Muchas gracias!
