Infimum of a set

Is it possible to find the infimum of a set using sage ?

That depends on how the elements of the set are defined. Sage doesn't implement and infimum function in general. But some infimum's are limits, and Sage can certainly compute limits. The infimum on a finite set is obviously computable using min.

What kind of solution did you have in mind?
