Though capabilities of sage are far more than that of MS Math, one issue is how to show students the intermediate steps in arriving at a solution, say in limits, differential, integral and solving equations of generic nature.

This seems like a duplicate of [this question](http://ask.sagemath.org/question/474/does-sage-show-steps-to-solving-an-equation), and unfortunately the answer is still "you don't", I think.

May be, but how to proceed on the matter. These are the bottlenecks we face while trying to push FOSS as alternatives to proprietary stuff such as MS Math. Please suggest approaches that will lead us all in the direction of achieving this goal.
