When can i expect Sage-math to be available on Fedora 18 repositories, will it ever be be available there, is there any license incompatibilities that can't be resolved?

Not anytime soon, but who knows whats going to happen in the future. There is no licensing problem. Search the sage-devel archives if you want to know the pros and cons about different packaging schemes.

It seems like there is some good news, packaging for fedora has been complete and available for Fedora 17 and Fedora 18 in an unofficial repo pending review. For more Details

Based on the activity on the ticket https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=877651 it looks like the packaging doesn't yet produce a Sage build that passes doctests.
