change the color of Polyhedron object

Hello, I would like to know if there is anyway to change the color of a polyhedron object, I need to use the function Polyhedron to create objects (cubes, octahedrons...) from a set of vertices, but by default the object always is plotted green. Also, if it is possible, I would like to add a color map to it surface. If exist another function that I can construct from a set of vertices and have this functionality would be very useful too
