first upgrade to ubuntu 20.04
after you upgrade ubuntu, you can use the command
sudo apt install sagemath
to install sagemath but this will not be the latest version. You will get version 8.1. alternatively, you can download the 9.4 binary from the download binaries sagemath web page and install itFirst, tell Linux you are using an
AZERTY
keyboard...Alternatively, without upgrading your Ubuntu, you can install Sage 9.3 Linux binaries from
sage-9.3-Ubuntu_16.04-x86_64.tar.bz2
(32-bit binaries are also available).thanks Max, but you did not give the link and i dont find... :)
