unable to open sagemath due to error after installation

ModuleNotFoundError

I am using an ubuntu20.04LTS OS I installed sageusing apt-get and getting the following error while opening Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/sagemath/bin/sage-notebook", line 13, in <module> from sage.misc.banner import banner ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'sage.misc' please help

This is very probably packaging-specific, and should be reported against the Ubuntu/Debian package(s) you used to install Sage.
