Dear community, I'm aware that SAGE has maxima inside. Since I have a set of .mac files that allow me to compute quantities from Quantum Field Theory, I'd like to know if they can be loaded in a SAGE (jupyter) session... and How?

For context: quoting Boris Gaertner's Maxima tutorial:
Code that is written in the Maxima language is stored in
  files with extensions .mac or .mc. A lot of such files
  can be found in the subdirectories of the directory
~/Maxima-5.9.1/share/maxima/5.9.1/share
