Why does html with embedded SAGE files work from the internet but not when on my computer?

I have tried to run the same files from the internet and from my computer on various browsers using Windows 7 and 8. The internet versions run perfectly. The files from my computer used to work, but now when evaluated the SAGE response box opens and then spins without any further response. I just can't figure out what has changed on my machines to corrupt the HTML/SAGE embedded files which used to work perfectly.
