sage will not start in virtualbox

When I try to start Sage in VirtualBox, I get an error. The details are as follows::

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Sage-6.3.

The virtual machine 'Sage-6.3' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1.

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: Machine Interface: IMachine {480cf695-2d8d-4256-9c7c-cce4184fa048}

Please help? NOTE: I only just downloaded.

@TheLunchster , since you just downloaded the Sage appliance file, are you using the latest version of VirtualBox? Can you check which version you are using? A recent version of VirtualBox had a bug with the update system, so it may say no updates are available.
