Sage does not start in VB: error E_FAIL (0x80004005) What to do?

Hi. I have installed Oracle VB in Windows 8. I followed the guidelines at http://wiki.sagemath.org/SageAppliance .

But when I follow step 3.1 the start is aborted, and I get this error message:

The virtual machine 'Sage-6.2' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1. Fehlercode:E_FAIL (0x80004005) Komponente:Machine Interface:IMachine {480cf695-2d8d-4256-9c7c-cce4184fa048}

Any help suitable for a non-technical user is appreciated. Thanks.
