Many Sage notebook servers are not publicly available - one needs to be on campus, for instance. Also, the list of such servers has not been updated much recently. Finally, although the notebook isn't going anywhere any time soon, it also isn't being actively developed at this time.

thank you very much!

better a notebook servers to China, there are at least 600.000.000 people in internet.

many kinds of Python books in China bookstore, but no many people deeply study it.

in China, many people use mathematica, because mathematica 9.01 and maple 17 is free download every where

magma 2.15 free download in China.

in China nobody and no college pay magma V2.20,if pay one times, magma V2.20 will be free downloaded all China

in China,95/100 windows OS are free downloaded,no pay a cent to Bill_gate

I just have to point out that all of what you mention, while likely true, is illegal, at least in the laws of the countries where that software is created, and (in my view) immoral. An advantage of Sage is that if there ever is rule of law on this issue in country X where it is currently not in place, Sage will still be a legal option - as opposed to "free downloads".

On a more related note, do you think that there are universities in China which would be interested in hosting Sage notebook servers, or even "cloud" instances should that technology become available in this way? Having even one notebook server per large city would really make Sage far more available - fewer bandwidth issues, etc. - and that would be great!

No worries. I did edit this a little just to preserve the more professional tone of this forum, but I certainly sympathize with your strong feelings and am sorry things are the way they are. I also hope Sage gets more uptake in China!
