Is it possible to plot coordinate axes and not boxed in 3d plot in sage? I have been looking for this but have not succeeded yet and as result one has to plot coordinate axes separately like one in http://ask.sagemath.org/question/1441....

I think the only built-in axes are the box frame axes. We welcome anyone who wants to implement what you are saying.
