I have installed Sage-7.3 on Debian and I am running Sage-7.3 through VirtualBox on Windows.
How can I load a Notebook I have in my filesystem (Windows), I cannot find the way to open it in VirtualBox.NeskelWed, 19 Oct 2016 03:59:48 -0500http://ask.sagemath.org/question/35185/Sharing files between Sage and Windowshttp://ask.sagemath.org/question/31091/sharing-files-between-sage-and-windows/ Hi, I am new to sage and now I have really strange question. My sage is running in Oracle VM because I have WIN7. Because I work at two places, I need to transfer the files between to computers. I want to copy and store worksheets from Sage Notebook. And this is the problem. I am not able to save my work properly using the Sage Notebook. I set up in Oracle VM the Shared Folder. Ok, but all I am able to do is to save some html of the worksheet. I would like to store the files *.sws directly, not some dummy html. I was not able to find out something in manuals. How can I do this? Or is there another way? I don't want to use some cloud - only my flash-drive. **For me it suffices to know how to save the worksheet file (*.sws) into the shared folder.**
Thank YoujanThu, 26 Nov 2015 13:38:01 -0600http://ask.sagemath.org/question/31091/as of January/February 2014, what's the best way to share worksheets with a class?http://ask.sagemath.org/question/10967/as-of-januaryfebruary-2014-whats-the-best-way-to-share-worksheets-with-a-class/I have a worksheet that I'd like to share with a class, so that they can do some further calculations with what I did. I'm wondering what the best way to do that is. I know that if I 'publish' it, nothing really happens, since this kind of sharing is currently enabled. It's too late for me to arrange a server here for this semester. Do I have any good options?
