I found the sagetex.sty file and put it where it could be found by Latex (option 3 in the installation guide). When I use TexMaker (my latex editor of choice) a document is created that has only latex's usual ?? for references it does not know or could not find. However a sage file is created. (example.tex creates example.sage and a host of other files). If I run the file, example.sage, I receive an error saying:
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'example.sage'
What causes such an error had how can it be addressed?WishItWorkedSat, 23 Nov 2013 04:46:50 -0600https://ask.sagemath.org/question/10769/
