"sage -clone" fails like this:
$ ./sage -clone pdiff
Now cloning the current Sage library branch...
hg clone sage sage-pdiff
updating to branch default
abort: data/sage/rings/power_series_ring.py.i@8c895bf765d1: no match found!

I found that power_series_ring.py exists in */Applications/sage/devel/sage/sage/rings* but I do not know how to fix this issue as far as Mercurial is concerned. Can I rebuild the hg database? How else might I proceed to a fresh clone? Thanks!jayAWThu, 28 Mar 2013 04:32:45 +0100https://ask.sagemath.org/question/9949/Rolling back patcheshttps://ask.sagemath.org/question/9577/rolling-back-patches/I was wondering how I would rollback any change I make to the Sage branch by applying patches using
`hg_sage.apply("<path-and-name-to-the-patch>")`
The documentation does not seem to answer this question. I'd appreciate your help.
Come to think of it, I could have taken the Hg Queues route, much simpler to maintain, IMHO. *sigh*
Thank you.

I've downloaded and unpacked all the source code in spkg/standard and spkg/base, but what I get looks totally different from what I see when browsing the code online (http://hg.sagemath.org/sage-main/file/d06cf4b2215d/sage). Can someone please help me make sense of the source code? I just want to be able to navigate through the code that gets executed when some sage commands are invoked.
Thank you.rmp251Mon, 15 Oct 2012 14:20:54 +0200https://ask.sagemath.org/question/9429/Sage repositoryhttps://ask.sagemath.org/question/8441/sage-repository/How can i handle this error under upgrading?

I gave up on trying to learn it. Is there a way to accomplish what Mercurial queues does without the learning curve? timothyclemansWed, 18 Aug 2010 20:03:02 +0200https://ask.sagemath.org/question/7572/
