I have two lists of data and would like to use something like list_plot() to visualize the data, but the x-axis should be logarithmic. I have attempted (and failed) in using pyplot, but get an error message like this:
Your currently selected backend, 'agg' does not support show().
Please select a GUI backend in your matplotlibrc file
which I don't understand. Is there an option to plot() and/or list_plot() that allows one to choose logarithmic axes?
Thanks.Ed ScheinermanSun, 20 Nov 2011 12:05:20 -0600http://ask.sagemath.org/question/8497/Plotting a loglogplothttp://ask.sagemath.org/question/8322/plotting-a-loglogplot/is there a way to create a *loglogplot*? (a 2D plot that has *both axes logarithmically scaled*)
I've found links to there bugs ([0](http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/4529), [1](http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/1431)), but this hasn't been much helpful.
