I would like to share this program in such a way that someone with no knowledge of Sage could still provide the integer and enjoy the pictures.
For example, I imagine having a website with a form where the user provides an integer, the program executes in the cloud, and the pictures are displayed in the browser. This may not be possible or even advisable, but it's the sort of thing I mean.
What kinds of options do I have to easily share Sage output on the web?Austin MohrWed, 03 Dec 2014 18:12:18 -0600http://ask.sagemath.org/question/25106/Uploaded images not publishedhttp://ask.sagemath.org/question/9453/uploaded-images-not-published/I uploaded an external image to a SAGE 5.3 notebook, running on Ubuntu 12.04, inserted the image in a text area, then published the notebook. It turns out a visitor who views the published notebook doesn't see that external image, although the html-code served by SAGE contains a link like 'data/image.jpg'. When logged in, users do get to see the image.
What's going wrong? Has it something to do with access rights on the server? And what should I do to correct this behaviour?Dirk DanckaertSun, 21 Oct 2012 10:43:21 -0500http://ask.sagemath.org/question/9453/Missing Jmol Images when printinghttp://ask.sagemath.org/question/8357/missing-jmol-images-when-printing/When I attempt to print a notebook worksheet using either Safari or Chrome containing four plot3D-Jmol images, several are black (not displayed). Is this a memory problem? Is there
a way to force the plots to be static images instead of live JMol applets.
Sorry to say this but if this is not fixed I won't be able to use Sage for undergraduate teaching as
I must be able to post PDF's of examples easily!
