Opening the same web page in Chrome shows all cells as active. Here's an example:
http://moodle.snorduffel.be/course/view.php?id=276
(The page also contains some java-stuff, so you can also expect some error messages related to java applets not being trusted). The page contains 4 different Sage cells, but the only one I see is the one with hidden editor box. Each cell on its own displays just fine in firefox, but the four of them together don't.
Is there anything I can do on the sage side? Or is this purely a firefox problem?Dirk DanckaertTue, 16 Sep 2014 22:04:01 +0200https://ask.sagemath.org/question/24156/share not working in sage cellhttps://ask.sagemath.org/question/10901/share-not-working-in-sage-cell/I was using the sage cell server fine but all of a sudden the "Share" options (permalink and short temporary link) are grayed out so I cannot share my newest plots. Any ideas why and what to do? Thanks.
MFSymingtonMon, 13 Jan 2014 13:25:31 +0100https://ask.sagemath.org/question/10901/Cell server install instructionshttps://ask.sagemath.org/question/9774/cell-server-install-instructions/I would like to run a sage cell server, and my IT administrator has expressed interest in setting it up on a virtual machine for me. I found instructions for installing the cell server at [README.rst][1] from the github repository, but the IT administrator encountered the following problems and gave up:
* The instrucitons refer to sage 5.0, which is quite old by now, and to a sage [notebook patch][5], which has already been marked as fixed and merged.
* [sagecell-0.9.0.spkg][6] is a broken link and the natural guess at the latest [sagecell spkg][4] fails when applying to sage 5.6.
Perhaps I should have read the instructions more closely before forwarding them to him. I've now found the compiled [documentation][2], including the [advanced installation][3] instructions.
My administrator is willing to try again if I can find some up-to-date instructions, but I would like to be sure they will work :) Are the advanced installation instructions still accurate (aside from referring to an old version of sage), or do they need to be modified?

Has anyone been successful in embedding a Sage cell in a Tiddlywiki wiki? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Now I would like to use it as a cell server too. Can anyone point me to a page with up-to-date instructions on how to do this?
Just to be clear: I want to use the same SAGE installation as both a notebook server AND a cell server.Dirk DanckaertFri, 19 Oct 2012 18:05:34 +0200https://ask.sagemath.org/question/9447/No error messages in my Sage Cell serverhttps://ask.sagemath.org/question/9310/no-error-messages-in-my-sage-cell-server/I installed sagecell server on Sage5.2 and I have two problems: with jmol graphic and error messages
*Edit: (Jmol resolved - the problem was in the browser, not in the server), the problem that I do not see some error reports persists. Any idea?*
**ERRORS**
If the computation finishes fine, I can see the output (including plots). If the computation fails, I see empty cell (and no div with error message in Firebug).
The code
1.show(
throws error message on my server, as expected. However, the code
1.show()
throws error on aleph.sagemath.org, but not on my server.
**Current state**
I installed the sage cell server as follows:
1. compiled sage 5.2 from sources, tested and installed tickets 12719 and 13121 following the instructions in the description to these tickets
2. changed host IP address in sagecell_config_default.py (the installation in the text only virtual machine in vmware).
3. allowed 'ProxyPreserveHost On' in apache configuration to keep correct url's, as described in one of the posts in sage-devel
Can you help me? Many thanks.
The machine is installed on a server and apache2.conf is used to forward ports. However, the results are the same if I run the machine in VMware player and access directly from the same machine which runs the VMware player.

The sage server and mirrors erase any links to the old ones. I am sure there are kept somewhere.
I would like to try the sage cell server (I need Sage 5.0 on Ubuntu 10.04) but I do not intend to compile the source.shoibalcTue, 11 Sep 2012 00:43:37 +0200https://ask.sagemath.org/question/9309/Typeset math expressions in sage cell serverhttps://ask.sagemath.org/question/9271/typeset-math-expressions-in-sage-cell-server/Dear all,
is it possible to turn on 2D math formating of the output in the Sage cell server? Something like the "Typeset" checkbox in Sage worksheet. Many thanks.
Robertrobert.marikThu, 30 Aug 2012 05:34:51 +0200https://ask.sagemath.org/question/9271/sage 5.2 and single cell serverhttps://ask.sagemath.org/question/9211/sage-52-and-single-cell-server/Today I upgraded to 5.2 under Ubuntu 10.04, with success, as far as I can tell. Next I tried to install the single cell server, as I did before with Sage 5.0. I followed the instructions at
http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/11080
(pasting each line in a terminal window) but failing in the fourth line (which mentions ticket 11874). Could it be that they are out of date? Or do I misunderstand the instructions?
I noticed Sage 5.2 already seems to include sagenb 0.9.1 and jmol 12.2.21.p0. Can I go ahead and install sagecell 0.9.0.spkg directly?Dirk DanckaertSun, 05 Aug 2012 18:17:05 +0200https://ask.sagemath.org/question/9211/
