p = plot(tan(x), x, -pi, pi)
p.show(xmin=-pi, xmax=pi, ymin=-10, ymax=10)
in cloud.sagemath, I get a graph with vertical lines at -pi/2 and pi/2.
Can someone tell me why these asymptotes are drawn? If I could get it to display a line through the horizontal asymptote, & print their value, if would be very helpful.
I attempted the following to get the vertical asymptote & had no luck at all:
ans = solve( 7/(x-3) == 0, x)
v0 = ans[0].rhs()
print(v0)
Error message:
